You can access Causal Map for free by signing up in the app. No credit card required. The core functionality is free for everyone: unlimited projects, unlimited coding.
Choose your subscription directly from the Account tab in the app: app.causalmap.app
Free: Everything you need to get started. Unlimited projects and coding. Your projects are public.
Private (from £18/month): Keep your projects private. Email support.
Pro (from £38/month): Everything in Private, plus versioning, bookmarks and reports, and a dedicated statistics panel.
Team (from £78/month per seat): Everything in Pro, plus sharing between team members, live collaboration, logs of all edits, and two-factor authentication. Contact us for team discounts.

If you expect to use Causal Map for more than eight months in a year, the annual subscription is better value.
AI features and credits
Every plan, including Free, comes with a monthly allowance of AI credits, so anyone can use the AI features: Simple AI Coding, AI Answers, Vignettes and Soft Recode. You spend credits only when you run an AI feature, and the allowance refills each month.
Free gives you a starter allowance at no cost. Each paid plan comes in two versions: a standard version, which keeps that same allowance, and an AI version, which gives substantially more credits each month (see the “with AI” prices above). Choose the version you want when you subscribe from the Account tab in the app. No separate checkout needed.
Discounts
Discounts may be available for students and researchers, for organisations in lower-income countries, and for bulk or educational purchases. Ask us about discounts.
More about subscriptions
Any user, including free users, can view (but not edit) any project that is public or shared with them by its creator. Free users’ projects are all public.
Live support sessions are only available for Team subscriptions. Other users can use The Guide and tutorial videos.
